September 24-25, 2016 | Valley Extreme, SIS Charity Tournament & Used Equipment Drive
On September 24th and 25th the Valley Extreme Girls Fastpitch Organization hosted the Valley Extreme, Stay in Softball Charity Tournament. The tournament was held at the Candlelite Knolls fields in Cortland (Warren) and included teams in 10u, 14u and 16/18u divisions.
Stay in Softball players manned a tent at the tournament to educate tournament players and coaches about Stay in Softball. The SIS players also held a used equipment drive and a raffle both days of the tournament. The used equipment drive brought in over 60 pieces of equipment and the raffle raised close to $500 for Stay in Softball. We would like to thank all of the teams who contributed items to the used equipment drive including: Fury Fastpitch, Lady Lookouts, Ohio Lightning, Ohio Ice, Ohio SlamForce, Outlaws Fastpitch (Latess), Sluggers 18u, Steel City Cyclones, Streak Onyx, and Valley Extreme.
