April 11, 2015 | SIS Receives Largest Used Equipment Donation to Date

On April 11, SIS received its largest donation of used equipment to date.  Thanks to Alaina and Larry York (our newest members of the Player Advisory Board and Parent Board respectively) who helped organize the collection and spent a day delivering the donations to us.  The donations came from many teams and families including: Pittsburgh Nitro, Pittsburgh Pride, Pittsburgh Freedom, Leechburg Softball Association, Burrell Fastpitch, Cranberry Township Little League and the King, Popojas, Katz and Wolford families.    It is SIS’s goal to distribute used equipment in the general vicinity from which the donations came.  Therefore, much of the equipment will be distributed to teams and players in need at our free clinic to be held in western PA in June.   Thank you to Alaina and Larry and the rest of our PA supporters!
